Hey, there’s no need to tell how popular YouTube is in these days. YouTube is a great app for watching and sharing YouTube videos. Almost every video which you watch is provided by the content creator like you.

Nowadays, the YouTube app is preinstalled in almost every phone. Through this article, I’m going to tell you that how you can delete a YouTube the video that has been uploaded mistakenly and How to restore a video if you’ve deleted it by mistake.

How to Delete YouTube video?

In Mobile App

Open YouTube app in your mobile and then sign in using your Google account that is connected to your YouTube channel. Here’s are the steps: -

• To sign in, choose your profile icon in the Home tab of the YouTube app. And now click on your channel from the option provided.
• A channel the page will be open and then click on the YouTube tab.
•  Now select the video which you want to delete and then click on the menu. Now a new menu will appear, select ‘Delete’ option from it.

Now your video will be deleted. Now I’m sure that you’ll be happy because you learned a new thing today. Now let’s move on the next topic which is how to delete YouTube video in PC.

In Desktop

This is simple as you did in the Mobile app. If you have learned that then I’m sure that you can do it in the desktop mode also without reading this article but if you’re facing some problem in doing so then here’s are the steps to delete YouTube videos in the desktop: -

• Open YouTube in any browser and select the profile icon and sign in with your YouTube account.
• Now click on the YouTube Studio, go to the videos.
•  Select the video which you want to delete and click on the three dots. 
• Here you’ll see many options, select ‘Delete Forever’ from it.

Now You’re able to delete YouTube videos in both the devices.

But what if you deleted a wrong video. How to get back to it? Well, don’t be sad because I’m here with the solution to your problem.

How to Restore YouTube videos?

Well, YouTube doesn’t allow its users to restore their deleted YouTube video but if you really want to restore it then you have to contact the YouTube Support Team via Email and request them to restore that video.

If you have remembered your videos name then search that in Google because many third-party websites or apps copy many videos from YouTube and upload on their own websites. These websites allow their users to download any video from their sites. I’m sure you’ll find your video in these sites.

There is another way also if you have the link of that YouTube Video. Just copy that link and then paste it into any YouTube video downloading sites. And then download your video.
